Reflexology, Cupping and body work
Meet Audrey Burns
My inspiration to become a bodyworker began in 2014 when my mother suffered a fatal heart attack. This propelled my need to understand my body, my health, and start my own healing journey. I started this process by participating in yoga classes, which led to my yoga instructor certification, which sparked my curiosity deeper for the wonders of the body. In receiving my 1000 hour Holistic Health Practitioner certification from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in 2017 my studies included extensive training in Anatomy, Kinesiology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Fire Cupping, Moxibustion, Auricular Therapy, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Energy work, Thai Massage, Herbal Thai Massage, Herbal Studies, Joint Mobilization and Stretching, and Neuromuscular Therapy.
My mission is to hold a safe and nurturing space to promote healing from within, whether it be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. I believe that when a person receives my bodywork that the entirety of that person is before me and it is my intention as a healer, not to heal you, but to ignite your ability to heal yourself.
Reflexology - A form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to the hands and feet to promote health and remove energy blockages in the body.
Fire cupping - A traditional Chinese Medicine practice to breakdown the stagnation of energy and help relieve pain.
Thai massage - Fully clothed and performed on a traditional Thai mat, we combine a series of compressions, stretches, and joint mobilization techniques to decrease muscular tension, boost your energy, and lower your stress. This modality incorporates guided breathwork and firm pressure. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.
Swedish massage - Also known as Circulatory massage. Primarily focuses on relieving stress and tension within the body, promoting rest and rejuvenation. Lighter, soothing, gliding strokes.
